Dear Friends:

Thank you for your interest in working at Camp Pugwash. Enclosed please find the staff
application for this summer 2012.

Here are some things you may want to consider regarding work at Camp Pugwash. Camp
Pugwash is a ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and as such, its goal is to foster an
environment where young people will become better acquainted with God as their Maker and
Redeemer. We aim to do this through worships, programming, and the study of nature,
recreational and artistic activities, music and friendships. One of the most important aspects of
accomplishing this is through our staff. We are looking for staff that are eager for the soon return
of Jesus and are excited to share this will those they come in contact with.

Camp Pugwash is looking for staff who have committed themselves to Jesus Christ and to the
Seventh-day Adventist Church. They should be able to work well as a team and have a desire to
share Christ with their campers. They should be in good health, and willing to be flexible in their
work. They should be living a life in accordance with the standards of the Seventh-day Adventist
Church, and should be supportive of these standards in their life throughout the year. It is
preferred that applicants be 18 years of age or older, but we do make exceptions for those that do
have the spiritual potential and show maturity for their age.

Please fill out the accompanying application to the best of your knowledge (please print), and
include the name of three references (two if you worked at camp last summer). Include copies of
any pertinent certificates you may hold. Applications should be submitted by March 15, 2012,
to the Maritime Conference. Response to your application should be given by April 15, 2012.
Possible weeks of employment would be June 24 through August 4, 2012.

Thank you for your interest, and may God guide and bless you as you seek to do His will for
you. Please keep the process of hiring Pugwash staff as a matter of prayer.

Sincerely,

Paul Llewellyn
