Holy Land Tour
How does the idea of actually being where some of the stories of the Bible took place sound to you? You will visit Jaffa, Caesarea, Mount Carmel, Megiddo, Galilee, Nazareth, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Qumran, Masada, and the Dead Sea.
Prices for the 10-day event includes Air Canada tickets from Moncton to Tel Aviv (via Toronto), accommodations, buffet
breakfast and supper (lunch on your own), and entrance fees to exhibits. If that idea appeals to you then go to http://www.biblelandtours.net, click on Israel near the top of the screen and take a closer look at the places you will visit on the ‘Footsteps of Jesus’ tour.
The Maritime Conference is not subsidising this tour financially, but wishes to make this group information available to its members. By going to the website mentioned you can connect directly by phone or email with Marilyn Clarke of International Heritage Tours (IHT) who will provide you with all the information you will need including group pricing. Tell Marilyn that you are with the Maritime Conference group. This tour is scheduled for February 19 to March 1, 2012; a great way to escape the cold hand of winter! IHT is in good standing with the Travel Industry Council of Ontario and have been used by a sister Conference with good results.
Spaces are limited and are reserved on a first come, first served basis.

New Conference President
The Maritime Conference has a new president! John Fournier, Pastor of the Fredericton, Perth-Andover, and Zealand Churches was elected President of the Maritime Conference on September 5, 2010. John will replace Ken Corkum, outgoing President and recently retired, but has accepted an extended term of service as President of the Newfoundland Mission. We wish John and Janice God’s wisdom as they take up these important responsibilities.
